Immaculata Speaker Series: Dr. William Fahey

Dr. William Fahey, President of Thomas More College, will present "Education as if Truth Mattered: Why Civilization Falls Apart Without the Liberal Arts" on Saturday Nov. 19th from 7-9 PM at 6010 Preston Highway in Louisville. Wine and cheese reception will follow. For more information contact the school at 502-365-3545. Dr. William Fahey is the president of Thomas More College of Liberal Arts in Merrimack, New Hampshire. Dr. Fahey has taught at Christendom College, The Catholic University of America, abroad in Germany, and for many years in the Western Civilization Honors Program held at Oxford and Cambridge Universities, England. Dr. Fahey's scholarly interests extend from the Classical World through the Fathers of the Church to the importance of Agrarian thought on past and contemporary culture. He is currently translating St. Robert Bellarmine's political writings.
